How does the rental program work?

We’re keeping this simple and safe. Using our online rental portal, you can select the perfect game, snack, and drinks for your game night. Once you’ve made an online reservation, simply pull into the pick-up lane in front of Well Played during business hours and meet our masked and gloved Game Master at the front door. 

How much does it cost?

We don’t think it’s fair to you to charge the same for Gloomhaven as Animals Upon Animals, so we’ve created a simple, tiered pricing structure. Game rentals will cost either $5 or $10 and they will be yours to play for 5 days! We kindly request that you return the games in good condition before the end of the rental period so we can make sure it’s ready to play for the next group.

But do you have beer?

Absolutely. Whether you need a 6-pack, or a bottle of wine, we’ve got you covered! 

What happens if I’m late returning a game, bring back a damaged game, or never bring it back?

We’ll be Sorry! if we have to charge any additional fees, but those are the rules of the game that make it fair for all our players.

Late Fees/Non-Return: Once the 5 days are over, your turn is up. We’ll charge a $10 late fee and you’ll have another 5 days to return the game. After that, we’re going to charge you the full MSRP of the game plus $10 for shipping and handling to get a replacement. 

Damaged Games/Missing Pieces: We get it, spills, toddlers, and life happen. Please let us know if you’re returning a game in worse condition than you received it in. We’ll see if we have extra parts or pieces on hand or try to find replacements. If not, we’ll have to charge the full MSRP for the game plus $10 for shipping and handling. 

What are you doing to ensure health and safety?

In addition to following all CDC guidelines, we’re requiring all employees and guests wear masks, not allowing customers inside the store, providing contactless, online payment, and frequently cleaning the space. We’re also making sure the games themselves are safe to play. All games returned to Well Played will be removed from the library for a rest period of a minimum of 24 hours. During this time, these games will be sanitized with a commercial ozone generator – the same type of device used by hospitals. 

Where do I park?

The space directly in front of Well Played is designated for pickup and drop off, so there’s no need to search or pay for parking. Just pull directly in front of the store (parallel to our green railing) and make sure there is plenty of room for cars driving on Wall Street to pass your vehicle.
